Probably the oldest song I still have kicking around, possibly from 2009-10. A keepsake from a time long ago.

It was produced entirely in Audacity. Every individual component was recorded from various base resources and then arranged, trying to keep tempo. Couldn't tell you from what any of it was sourced.

It still surprises me the amount of music the average musician loses to time, deletion, closed web accounts, etc. The first song I had ever made was in FruityLoops, a very early release without sampling capability. There was another song I made in Ableton Live 7, possibly older than "Wally?" that was, I feel, better. I'll never hear it again.

Still, "Wally?", I think, was the first song that sparked in me some vague notion that I could ever make music that sounded nice.
